Refund and Returns Policy
Notification Period:
Please notify (The Tech And Gadget Store(PTY)LTD) that your intent to return an item within 7 days of receiving your purchase.
Shipping Costs:
-the return is due to personal preference or a change of heart, the customer is responsible for return courier costs.
-If the item is faulty or damaged,or wrongly supplied. THE TECH AND GADGET SHOP will cover the return shipping costs.
Sending Items Back:
-Goods should only be returned to our warehouse for processing.
–Please do not send them back to the manufacturer.
-After you notified us we will send courier to collect goods at Delivery premises.
-We will notify u about date.
Refund Process:
-Refunds, replacements, or credits will be processed only after the returned items have been received and inspected at our warehouse.

-For damaged or defective goods, we’ll ask for photographic evidence to be sent to us if we find it needed.
Handling Fees:
-If the return is due to a change of heart,or wrong ordered a 15% handling fee will be deducted from the refund.
Damaged or Defective Goods:
-If an item is received damaged or defective and we have stock, we’ll replace it. If not, a full refund will be provided for the damaged item.
-Refund can be Via direct EFT or Credit on Store its our Customers Choice
No warrantee on any Batteries
-We cannot give any warranty on batteries as our suppliers dont support it.
Acceptance Criteria:
-Returns will only be accepted if the item is in its original, unopened packaging and hasn’t been tampered with or used or damaged.
-If opened and product is faulty we will collect it as is.
-Please use our technical support with help and setup before you confirm it faulty
Exclusion:
-Refunds will not be granted if there’s evidence the product has been used,tampered with,water damage or any act of GOD.
-No Refund on electronic equipment thats been opened or used.

-No cash refund will be given on simply change of heart,or mind or if delivery goods were not accepted by u.
Delivery Times
-Meaning The time it takes for an exchanged product to reach you can vary based on your location.
-We cannot take responsability on Public holiday’s,toy-toy,or any act of God will delay delivery times that are delayed.
Refund Amount:
-When a refund is granted due to personal preference, the refund will exclude the original delivery fee,and a 15% handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount
-When a refund is granted because of fault product or wrongly supplied we will refund full amount you paid at checkout,no fees will be deducted.
-Refund depents on volume will take between 1 to 3 working days via EFT
Warranties:
-All inverters and batteries proffesional electric equipment must be installed by a qualified electrical wireman or Master electrician with a valid registration with the Department of Labour. A valid electrical certificate of compliance (COC) must be issued once installed, specific to the installation of the backup or solar system. The installation must be compliant with SANS 10142 and ALL its parts. Any warranty claim submitted without installation photos, a valid COC and proof of a qualified wireman/master electrician installing the unit, can be rejected and will render the warranty claim null at void.
-Only lithuim ion batteries have Warranties,No other battery on this site has a Warranty.
